Norma Roy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Roy (Black Point, New Brunswick), born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Blomquist and Mary Blomquist (Cook); and her brothers, George, Eldon and William Gordon.
She is survived by : her husband Floyd Roy; her daughters, Diana Roy-Searle (Mark) of Rothesay and Karen Roy (Kurt) of Saint John; her grandchildren, Abby, Owen and Leah; her siblings, Ingrid Paulin, Barbara Jean Babin, Wanda Jones (Walter), Audry Blomquist and Willie Blomquist (Noella); her siblings-in-law, Judy Blomquist, Loza Guitard, Sophia Furlotte, Sheldon Roy (Shirley) and Danny Roy; her caregiver Shari; and her niece Precious. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
