Leonard D. MacDonald Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard D. MacDonald of Black River Bridge, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert MacDonald and Mina MacDonald (MacDonald); his wife Laura MacDonald (Belding); his siblings, Eveline Ross, Jessie Adams-Russell, Marjorie Grant, Atcheson, Emerson, Lloyd and Thomas MacDonald; and his grandson Tyler MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie MacDonald, Gail MacDonald (Yves), Wade MacDonald (Ruth) of Miramichi, Gary MacDonald and Rodney MacDonald of Stouffville, Ontario; his sisters, Leila Ripley and Louise Daws of Ontario; his grandchildren, Connie, Elaina and Albert; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor, Sean, Kaylee, Jason, Catherine, Jorja, Matthew and Andrew; and his great great grandchildren, Lyla, Hazel, Wyatt, Arabella and Sedona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Ltd. (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's United Church (7970 NB-117, Greater Miramichi Rural District, NB E1N5K7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
