He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebby Higgins and Hazel Higgins (Smith); and his son Joshua Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Kim Higgins; his stepdaughters, Toni Fragomeni of Miramichi and Jessica MacDonald of Ontario; his grandchildren, Samantha Keeso of Ontario, Madyson Fragomeni of Miramichi, Maxwell Fragomeni of Miramichi and Marcus Houghton "Guya" of Miramichi; his siblings, Marilyn Kittle (Dave) of Ontario, Alice Hutchison (Paul) of Ontario and David Higgins of Ontario; and his nieces, Kari, Janet and Theresa.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the St. Stephen's United Church (7970 NB-117, Greater Miramichi Rural District, NB E1N5K7).
