Alfreda Marie Hill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfreda Marie Hill of Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" A. Hill; her parents, Alexandre Brideau and Euphemie Brideau (Dugas); and her son Michael Hill. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Hill (Emily) of Saskatchewan, Peter Hill (Sandy) of Blacks Harbour, NB, Gary Hill (Donna) of New Bandon, NB, Charlene Hill of Blacks Harbour, NB, Lynn Martin (Tony) of Florida and Jill Craig (Dale) of St. George, NB; her grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Jacqueline, Jesse, Jenna, Angelica, Joan, Kerry, Judy, Jen, Chris, LynAnn, Shauna, Nicola, Meagan, Clarissa, Jelisa, Mackenzie and Logan; and her siblings, Bert Brideau, Melda Meade and Reseda Arseneau. She is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. George Funeral Home (26 Portage St, Saint George, NB E5C 3L6). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Catholic Church (172 Wallace Cove Rd, Blacks Harbour, NB E5H1H1).
In Alfreda's memory, donations to Mary Mother of God Parish or to a charity of the donor's choice would be, greatly appreciated by the family.
