She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephrem J. Guitard and Evangeline M. Guitard; her sons, Richard and Michael; and her siblings, Edgar Guitard and Susan Baldwin.
She is survived by: her children, David McLaughlin of Musquash, NB, James McLaughlin of Blacks Harbour, NB and Diane Maillet of Yarmouth, NS; her grandchildren, Sandy, Anthony, Mickal, Katelyn, Rachael, Alexander and Jade; and her sisters, Theresa Bradford, Joanne Oulette and Jeanie Matheson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. George Funeral Home (26 Portage St, Saint George, NB E5C 3L6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Stella Maris Catholic Church (172 Wallace Cove Rd, Blacks Harbour, NB E5H1H1). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026.
In her memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
