He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Richardson and Anna Richardson of Deer Island; his former wife Ruth; his daughter Mary Ellen Barrio; and his sisters, Christine Martin (Raye) and Beatrice Richardson (Sherm).

He is survived by: his wife Lottie; his stepson Ricky Beek (Joan); his grandchildren, Robbie Barrio (Robin) and Christy Beek; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Aaron (Taylor), Alannah and Amira; and his granddaughter Corina Barrio.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sea View Full Gospel Church (195 Back Bay Loop Rd, Back Bay, NB E5C2W3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the St. George Rural Cemetery.

In Perry's memory, donations to Fundy Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
