We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2025, Eldon James Gillespie (Blackville, New Brunswick), born in Blissfield, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Gillespie and Grace Gillespie; his sisters, Joyce Ballard and Marie Cowie; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Underhill, Sister Eva Underhill, Margaret Murphy, Reginald Underhill, Herman Underhill and Leslie Underhill.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Gillespie (Underhill); his daughter Janice Hogan (Sheldon); his grandchildren, Christopher (Julie), Corey (Katelin) and Laura; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Everly, Sloan, Blayke and Paxton; and his brothers, Robert and Merlin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calendrier Holy Trinity Anglican Church (298 Main St, Blackville, NB E9B1T2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
