It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Corney of Blackville, New Brunswick, born in Quarryville, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Astle and Amby Astle (Clark); her husband Hubert Corney; her granddaughter Kerri Lynn Chambers; her siblings, Hiram Astle, Ivan Astle and Vinie Elliott; and her brothers-in-law, Markie Hambrook and Jack Elliott.

She is survived by : her children, Amber McCormack (Jack) of Blackville, Rose Marie Cooper (Tony) of Wheatley River, PE and Brent Corney (Susan) of Blackville; her siblings, Ruth Hambrook of Parkland, Merton Astle (Hulda) of Gray Rapids and Wayne Astle of Parkland; her sister-in-law Grace Astle of Quarryville; her grandchildren, Kathy McCormack-Malcher (Kim), Nancy McCormack (Jason), John McCormack, Robert Ginson (Sarah), Sarah Ginson (Derek), Candace Silliker (Colin), Paige Corney and Stephen Cooper; her great grandchildren, Tyana, Noah, Karter, Quinn, Addy, Landon of Destiny, J. P., Max, Miley, Bennett, Rayah, Blaire and Hayes; and her pet Rudy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her contributions to her community spanned over 65 years.
