He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Foster and Muriel Foster (Johnson); his daughter Kathleen (McMurtry); and his siblings, Johnny, Donne, Merlin and Frances.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Howland (Rob), Christine Foster and Kathie Cable (Quinn); his grandchildren, Katrina, Josh, Christopher, Estelle and Natara; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Scarlett, Nova, Haven, Oliver, Hunter and Cassidy (Diane); his pet Little Bit; and his siblings, Jackie, Linda and Stephen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
