He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Beckerton (Randall) and Audrey Fiander Beckerton (McKay); his brothers-in-law, Edward Flagg and Arthur Gill; his former wife Eva Belyea; and his nephew Randy Flagg.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Little of Utopia, NB; his children, Duane Belyea (Sandra), Blaine Belyea of Oshawa, ON, Andrea Fiander (Scott Jeffrey) of Bloomfield, NB and Adam Fiander of Quispamsis, NB; his stepchildren, Katrina Furrow (Randy) of Maine and Luke Little of Bayside, NB; his grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon, Madison, Chance, Taylor and Reese; his siblings, Margaret Flagg-Gill of Dobbinton, ON, Carl Fiander (Barb) of Saint Andrews, NB and Marilyn Livingstone (Wayne) of Crocker Hill, NB; his stepbrother Tom Beckerton (Janice) of Bayside, NB; his aunt Jean Tennant of Bocabec, NB; and also Sharon Bovaird Fiander. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
