It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Léa Savoie of Bouctouche, New Brunswick, born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Léonard Savoie; her parents, Albert Léger and Ursule Léger (Collette); and her siblings, Exelda, Irène, Emile, Alban, Alcide and Aldérice.

She is survived by: her daughters, Yvette Bertin (Larry) of Moncton and May Maillet (Paul) of Bouctouche; her grandchildren, Michelle, Julie, Maurice and Mario; her great grandchildren, Chloé, Maya, Sébastien, Noah, Marco, Arielle, Eric, Lexi and Liv; her sister Roseline Maillet (late Ulysse) of Moncton; and her sister-in-law Rose Savoie of St-Stephen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
