She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Nowlan and Irène Nowlan (LeBlanc); and her siblings, Marie-Anne, Sophie, Edgar, Joseph and Marcel.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thérèse Cormier (Lionel) of Sainte-Anne, Stella Cormier of Shediac, Bernadette Nowlan (Omer Maillet) of Saint-Norbert, Adolphe (Dorice), Lawrence (Maria), John (Anna), Edouard (Geralda) and Lucas (Maria) of Bouctouche. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In Mélanie's memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT (Diabetes Unit).
