She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gaynor and Emelda Gaynor (Hebert); and her siblings, John, Janette, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Jacqueline and Helen.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald M. MacKinnon; her children, Darren, Shannon (David Cox) and Tammy (Brian Breau); her grandchildren, Kamécha, Hayden and Paige; and her sisters, Margaret Woodman of Steeves Mountain, Carolyn Gaynor of Steeves Mountain and Barbara Gaynor of Moncton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
