He was predeceased by: his parents, Carman Hugh Hicks and Gracie Iona Wheaton; his brother Larry Hicks; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Steeves and Kirby Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his grandchildren, Taylor Phinney (Haley Estabrooks) and Braydon Phinney (Eme Estabrooks); his mother-in-law Louise Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Alphonsine Hicks, Karen Sears, Emma Steeves, Donnie Steeves (Anne), Alan Steeves (Donna), Kenny Steeves (Debbie) and James Steeves (Kristen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Ann's Anglican Church (65 British Settlement Rd, British Settlement, NB E4L2E9).
