She was predeceased by : her parents, George and Celia Christie (Harris); her husband Gerald; her daughters, Alexa Taylor and Heather Ferne; and her siblings, Doris MacDonald, Ada Trail, Ella Gray, Nina Christie, Joyce Thornton, Grace Bragdon, Harold, Austin, Perley, Robert, John and Ray Christie.

She is survived by : her children, Daphne Dezeeuw (Joe) of Woodstock, NB, Ardi Williams (Brad), Gerry Thornton (Carina) of Fredericton, NB, Corless Thompson (Bruce), Veronica Hoyt (Stephen) of Burtts Corner, NB, Bryce Thornton (Bev) and Marty Thornton (Suzanne) of Bubartown, NB; her son-in-law Glyn Taylor of Wakefield, NB; her grandchildren, Scott (Paula), Brett (Danyel), Kari, Taryn (Greg), Tim (Heather), Brad (Jess), Chrissy (Charles), Josh (Lina), Lexianna, Mandi (Kyle), Tyler, Jason (Karla), Becky (Brandon), Holly, Deney, Emily (Jon), Darrek and Rachel (Tyson); her brother Fred Christie (Alta); and her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Christie, Delores Kaley, Gwen Christie, Roselle Christie, Edith Lyons (Wilson), Arden Thornton (Marguerite) and Delmont Thornton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 6 to 9 p. m. Funeral service (by invitation only due to Covid-19) will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from the funeral home chapel with her son Rev. Gerry Thornton officiating.
