With sadness, we share the passing of Grace Oakes of California Settlement, New Brunswick. Grace, born on February 13, 1948 in Easton, Maine, passed away on July 27, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grace Oakes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Victor and Evelyn Edith Boxwell (Lint); her husband Ellis Oakes; her son David Oakes; and her siblings, Dorothy Thibodeau, Nancy Scott, Sandra Monson, Robert and Donald Boxwell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Oakes-Marenger (Michel) of Glassville, NB and Cathy Ferris (Jeff) of Oak Bay, NB; her grandchildren, Damian, Jenny, Cal (Stephanie) and Corwyn (Erica); her great grandchildren, John Charles, Everly, Ayla and Elianna; and her brother Albert Boxwell (Sandra) of Caribou, ME. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
