He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Firth and Howard Downs; and his siblings, Denzil, Vella, Elsa and Linda.

He is survived by: his daughter Leslie; and his siblings, Gilbert (Gloria), Stevie, Donald (Linda) and Barb (Len). He is also survived by his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
