With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie Mae Barnaby Metallic (Campbellton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Labobe and Joseph Metallic; her brothers, William Labobe and Joseph Metallic; her son Vernon (Donna); her husband Hubert Barnaby; and her grandsons, Noah Isaac and Dylan Barnaby.
She is survived by: her significant other Paul Albert; her siblings, Florence Metallic-Edwards, Frank Metallic (MaryAnn), Percy Metallic (Shirley), Stanley Metallic (late Edna), John Metallic (Tina) and Henry Metallic (Leila); and her children, Roger (Carmel), Philip (Robin), Michael (Karen), Theresa (Bryden), Herbert (Sheila) and Sheila (Albert). She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maher's Funeral Home (33 Landsdowne St, Campbellton, NB E3N2L7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maher's Funeral Chapel (64 Landsdowne St, Campbellton, NB E3N 2L8).
