He was predeceased by : his parents, Judith Eleanor (Cooke) and James Herbert Manning; his brothers, Bernard and Herbert Jr.; his granddaughter Charlene; and his great grandchild Rebekah.

He is survived by : his friend Phyllis Berthelot; his daughters, Joan (Darin) and Brenda (Donald); his siblings, Veneta and Leigh; his grandsons, Adam, Christopher, Steven and Gregory; his stepchildren, Stewart, Bruce, Gerard, Gwen and Tanya (Henry); and his stepgrandson Gregory Wysote.
