He was predeceased by: his parents, Treffle Godin and Clara Doucet; and his siblings, Gerald, Danny, Charlotte, Leona, Barbara and Vivian.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Godin (Anderson) of Campbellton; his daughters, Lisa Godin (Steve) of Nova Scotia and Katie Godin (Daniel) of Bathurst; and his siblings, Joe Godin of Campbellton, William Godin (Marion) of Ontario, Roger Godin, Jeannette Arseneault of Dalhousie, Eileen Drapeau of Eel River, Theresa Scott (Robert) and Geraldine Scott (John) of Alberta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
