He was predeceased by: his parents, Leigh Brooks and Mary Steeves Brooks; and his son Gary Brooks (Helene) of Guelph. He is survived by: his wife Annie Brooks (Mann); his daughters, Karen Kelly (Patrick) of Mahone Bay, NS and Lori Urquhart (Raymond) of Mahone Bay, NS; and his sister Mona Atkinson (Claude). He is also survived by 7 grand-children and 11 great-grand-children.
