He was predeceased by : his parents, Edith Mann (MacKenzie) and John Herbert Mann of Campbellton; and his brothers, Murdock (Joan), Mackenzie (Diane) and Kirk (Ann).

He is survived by : his mother-in-law Eleanor Joyce Springer; his wife Eleanor; his children, John (Barb Spivak) of Georgetown, Ontario and Dr. Cathy Mann (Kris Poduska) of St. John's, NL; and his grandchildren, Nicole and Jodie Mann of Georgetown, Ontario..
