He was predeceased by: his fathers, Ernest and Emmanuel (Manue); his son James Diotte (Carmen Luschen); his brother Richard [Dick] Diotte; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Diotte.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Woods; his son Dwight [Irmgard] Diotte; his grandchildren, Veronica Zahaar, Jessie Boekelder Diotte and Carlos [Femke] Luschen; and his sisters, Gen Duguay and Nadine Briggs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
