He was predeceased by: his father Reginald Cooling; and his siblings, Marjory, Christine and Larry. He is survived by: his mother Irene Cooling (Firth); his wife Gail (Gallie); his daughters, Joeanne McRobert (Jason) and Sandra Newson (Loran); his grandchildren, Dylan, Cassidy, Madison, Bennett and Cooper; his daughter Judy King (Gallie); and his brothers, Allison (Mary Lou), Dale and John (Brenda). He is also survived by many in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dawsonville Cemetery.
