She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Donald C. Steeves; her parents, J. Eileen Taylor and Frank Taylor of Saint John, NB; her husband Dr. W. Arthur Oatway; her son-in-law Richard Cuvelier; and her stepson Michael Oatway.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Taylor; her children, Janet Cuvelier (Rick Pinchin), B. Lynn Ritchie (Dale), Gary Steeves (Lucie Audet) and Claire McWilliam (Mike); her stepchildren, Maureen Oatway, Sharman Arslanian (Karnig) and Stephen Oatway; her stepgrandchildren, Dr. Geoff Cuvelier (Susan), Dr. Susan Cuvelier, Rob Ritchie (Amy Chow), Greg Ritchie (Emma D'Eon), Jillian Ritchie (Ven Tomov), Jordan Steeves (Megan), Gabrielle Steeves, Neil McWilliam (Jenna), Leslie Mullen (Tyler) and Erin Noiles (Caleb); and her stepchildren, Mark Oatway (Jenn), Marnie Oatway (Jon Sheen) and Alexander Oatway. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and, nephews.
