It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edmond Duguay (Cap-Pele, New Brunswick), born in Bas-Cap-Pele, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Duguay and Rose-Anna Duguay (Fagan); his wife Bertha; his son Guy; and his siblings, Cécile Richard, Philippe, Alban and Larry.
He is survived by : his children, Alva (Allard Landry) of Cap-Pelé, Jean-Paul (Zella) of Shemogue, Bernard (Phyllis) of Cap-Pelé and Eddie (Sylvette) of Cap-Pelé; his grandchildren, Marcel, Mario, Julie, Suzanne and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Yannick, Sébastien, Céline, Mylène, Alex, Caleb, Justin and Jonathan; his siblings, Rita Brun (late Pat), Roger (Lorraine) and Omer (Alfreda); and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Duguay of Cap-Pelé, Rose-Marie Duguay of Shediac and Sara Vautour (late Donat).
Face covering is mandatory, and proof of vaccination and government issued identification card are required to enter the funeral centre and the church; and social distancing is in effect.
