We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2022, Janita Burke (Cap-Pele, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred Burke Jr.; her parents, Oswald Doiron and Rita Doiron (LeBlanc); and her brothers, Claude Doiron and Clairice Doiron.
She is survived by : her children, Daniel Bourque (Sandi) of Stratford, PE, Annette Léger (Paul Babin), Diane Belliveau (Billy) and Pierre Bourque (Janice) of Shediac; her grandchildren, Stéphane Belliveau (Julie Caron), Ricky Belliveau (Veronica McInnis), Morgan Bourque (Coadey Lougheed) and Isaac; her great grandchild Ava Belliveau; her siblings, Ovila Doiron (Prémilia) of Grand Barachois, Gérald Doiron (Rolande) of Cap-Pelé, Géralda Doiron (Philippe) of Cap-Pelé, Bernice Landry (late Roméo) of Cap-Pelé and Rosella Léger (Roger) of Cap-Pelé; and her sister-in-law Marie Doiron-Léger of Moncton.
In memory of Janita, a contribution to either the CHU Dumont (la Chaire RR Léger en cancérologie de Précision, Rodney Ouellette, titulaire), Sainte-Thérèse-d'Avila Parish Cemetery, Cap-Pelé or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
