He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund LeBlanc and Lumina LeBlanc (Richard); his siblings, Anne-Alice Léger, Corinne Landry, Léonie, Thérèse Bourque, Albertine (Georgette), Laurie, Émile and Réginald; and his half-siblings, Rhéa LeBlanc, Marie McLachlan, Yvrette LeBlanc, Emery, Louis and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Anita (Cormier); his children, Pauline Brun (Edgar) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Dianne Léger (Éric) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Janet LeBlanc (Allard) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Gilles (Bernice) of Dieppe; his grandchildren, Nadine, Mathieu, Christian, Nathalie, Caroline, Mylène, Madeleine, Sebastien and Samuel; his siblings, Délia, Marie-Mai Jacob, Andréa LeBlanc and Cloris; and his siblings-in-law, Annette LeBlanc and Dosithé Léger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre (2642 Acadie Rd, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N1E4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sainte-Thérèse-D'Avila R. C. Church (2648 Acadie Rd, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N1E4).
In Ovila's memory, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice SENB (Albert House) or to Leisure Services at the Villa Providence would be greatly appreciated.
