He was predeceased by : his parents, Gérard and Irène (Melanson); and his sister Gisèle. He is survived by : his sons, Ricky (Angie) of Bas-Cap and Timmy (Carol) of Bas-Cap; his siblings, Huberte Kaminski (Siggy) of Kitchener, ON, Alex Cormier (late Marie Anne) of Bas-Cap, Joseph Cormier (Alva) of Bas-Cap, Clarice Cormier (Pauline) of Bas-Cap, Maria LeBlanc (Charles) of Bas-Cap and Paul-Émile Cormier (Joanne) of Robichaud; his grandchildren, Tyler (Catherine), Miguel (Annelle), Brooklyn (Mario) and Alexi (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Émilie and Alexander; and his close friend Majella Doiron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
