George Burtt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2025, at the age of 85, George Burtt of Central Blissville, New Brunswick passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Burtt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Burtt and Ruth Burtt Alexander (Elder); his sister Annie Carr (Byron); and his brothers-in-law, Garfield Vail and Douglas "Puzz" Golding.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Slipp (Slipp); his children, Janice Burtt, Jolie Arndt (Duane), David Burtt (Joni) and Patti Nason (Roger); his grandchildren, Lindsay Arbeau (Matthew), Candice Strang (Derek) of David, Arndt (Anna), Tori Johnson, Violet Nason, Charlie Burtt and Rosie Burtt; his great grandchildren, Jessa, Macey, Lydia Arbeau, Bella, Theo, Cali and Brady Strang; his goddaughter Robyn Bruce; his siblings, Margaret Golding, Evelyn McCracken (Danny), Mildred Munn (Art) and Bobby Burtt (Debbie); and his brother-in-law Harold Slipp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunbury Funeral Home (5407 NB-101, Central Blissville, NB E5L). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Geary Baptist Church (668 Broad Rd, Geary, NB E2V3W6).
Donations in George's memory may be made to Heritage Christian School, Geary Baptist Church, or Blissville Baptist Cemetery.
