He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Upton and Inez Upton (Hemphill). He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Cheryl Szanto (David) and Sarah Upton (Aaron); his grandchildren, Alex, Aiden and Makena; and his brother Ron Upton (Carla). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
For those who wish, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Centreville Baptist Church Building Fund, a recent planning project that Charlie was very excited about.
