He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus DeWitt (Dolph) and Althea DeWitt (Humphrey); his daughter Carla Reid Betts; his grandson Luke Reid; and his siblings, Doris, Geraldine, Alice, Rita, Donna, Eldon and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy Davis (Gary) and Lorna Stokes (James); his grandchildren, Mitchell Davis, Beth Gauthier (Matthieu), Michael Stokes (Paula), Timothy Stokes (Zee) and Emily Carr (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Ollie Gauthier, Alem Stokes, Benjamin Stokes and Cole Garvin; and his wife Vera H. McLean.
