It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Nichol of Charlo, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Joyce may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Donald Hamilton and Margaret Isabel Hamilton (Hamilton); her husband Bill; her daughters, Brenda Nichol and Barbara Oakes; and her sisters, Ethel, Mildred and Ruby.

She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Yeo (Fenton) of Macklin, SK; her son-in-law James Oakes of Penticton, BC; and her sister Jean Stewart of Dalhousie, NB..
