She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Irvine and Almedia Hawkes (Vail); her husband Roland; her granddaughter Tammy Daigle; her siblings, Arthur, Stanley, Gerald, Manley, Clifford, Joyce Hawkes, Ida Hawkes and Jean; Cecil.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne, Phillip (Cynthia), Judy Richard and Gloria Clark (Charles); her grandchildren, Stephen Richard, Roland Gardiner (Katie), Jonathan Vail (Kate), Nathaniel Vail (Emily) and Kayla Gardiner; her great grandchild Amber Richard (Luc); and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Chase and Lorraine Hawkes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (28 Northrup Dr, Chipman, NB E4A2P7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chipman United Pentecostal Church (327 Main St, Chipman, NB E4A2M8).
