She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brown and Beatrice Brown (Beers); her siblings, Ross, Hayward, Laura, Reta and Doreen; and her siblings-in-law, Dora, Jean, Clayton Briggs, Clayton Brancombe, Arthur Briggs, Oscar Richardson and Lindy Langin.

She is survived by: her husband Arnett Briggs; her children, Herby, Troy (Carol), Dwayne (Kelly) and Trila (Paul); her brother Wayne Brown (Barby); her siblings-in-law, Audrey (Dave), Susan (Neil), Joyce Chase and Wayne Leaman; her grandchildren, Branden, Jacob, Kelsey, Russ and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Americus, Austin, Alex, Joseph, Scarlett and McKenelley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
