Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Julia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shanks and Eleanor Shanks (Austin); and her husband Earle. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence (Marion) and Deborah Connell; and her grandchildren, Julie (Tom), Michael (Colleen), Mark (Danielle), Andrew (Nancy) and Sara (Laura). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Coles Island Cemetery or Cody's W.I. are appreciated.
