He was predeceased by: his grandmother Sherry-Lee Carter; his great-grandparents, Nancy Cole and Donald Cole; and his great-uncle Johnny Cole. He is survived by: his pet Gunner; his mother Kristie Carter; his stepfather Nelson Grant; his sisters, Kassidy Carter (Russell Mckenelley), Shaylynn Grant and Lily Grant; and his uncle Scott Carter. He is also survived by many cousins; and many close friends.
