He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alonzo Lyons and Dorothy Elizabeth Lyons; his former wife June Lyons (Jardine); Eileen Lyons (Stewart). He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Gorham (Dick), Barbara Herd (Grant) and Fred Lyons (Diana); and his stepchildren, Luke Price (Anise) and Perena F Te Lindert (Erik). He is also survived by two nieces, and three nephews.
