Robert Darwyn Ryder Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Darwyn Ryder (Chipman, New Brunswick). Robert, born on February 3, 1937, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Ryder and Pearl Ryder (Phillips); his daughter-in-law Dorothy Ryder; his granddaughter Sharon Ann Sharpe; his son-in-law Roger Burt; his brothers-in-law, Floyd Wiggins, Bev Wood and Lloyd Clark; and his siblings, Beverly Ryder and Isabel Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Ryder, Brian Ryder (Della), Christine Burt, Barry Ryder (Wendy), Brenda Hebert (Joey), Norma Perry (Michael) and Gordon Ryder (Sheila); and his sisters, Eva Wood and Hazel Wiggins. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mill Cove Church of God (13 Ferris Rd, Mill Cove, NB E4C3C7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert made to the SPCA or the Waterborough Baptist Cemetery are appreciated.
