He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Knowles and Mary Knowles (Scott); his grandparents, George (Gramp) and Georgina Scott (Nan); his siblings, Brian (late Maritta) and Beryl Thomas (late Jim); his siblings-in-law, Terry Riordon and Coleen Riordon; and his son-in-law Stacy Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Knowles (Riordon); his children, Kathy (Blair) and Kirk (Chantal); his grandchildren, Corey, Meagan (Austin), Ryland, Jonathan, Landon and Maddie; his siblings, Wanda Ellis (late Syd Smith), Darlene Weichel (late Ross), Debbie Henry (Jim), Diane Ellis (Stephen) and Laurie Knowles (Dora Mae); his uncle Milton "Mick" Knowles (Helen); his aunt Eleanor Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Riordon (Ellen), Marc Cormier (late Alma), Sandra Riordon (late Ray), Dianne Riordon (late Frank) and Viola Riordon (late David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to the "Toronto Maple Leaf Stanley Cup Parade Fund" (haha) or seriously, to a charity of the donor's choice (as long as it's not the Montreal Canadien's Stanley Cup Parade Fund!) Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (http://www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
