He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Elias King and Sarah King (Cole); and his siblings, Ivan, Adrian, Ardoine, Reta and Sylvia.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Marie Ward; his children, Eric King (Ethel) of Cocagne, NB and Lorna Stewart (Gary) of New Glasgow, NS; his grandchildren, Evan, Kimberley, Graham, Jamie, Lori Ann, Leanna and Bradley; and his great grandchildren, Allison and Annaliese. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
