It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Velma Morrison of Dawsonville, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Craswell and Dolly Craswell (Kaine); her husband John; her siblings, Lawson Craswell (Donna), Neta and Jimmy Craswell; her son-in-law Lewis Irvine; her sisters-in-law, Ann Thurston (Ken), Emma Cole (Bert) and Arlene Morrison (George); her nephew Blaine Thurston; and her stepmother Beulah Firth Craswell.
She is survived by: her children, David Morrison (Evelyn), Sharon Morrison, Carol Smith (Angus), Billy Morrison, Charlene Horn (Drew) and Cathy Morrison; her grandchildren, Melissa Smith (Jamey Windley), Jennifer, Angela Wittig (Jason), David Morrison, Hannah and Josie Horn; her great grandchildren, Brynn, Brody O'Connell, Madison and Jenna Wittig; her siblings, Joely Craswell (Ruby) and Donna Carman (Craig); her siblings-in-law, Carrie Lyons, George Morrison and Bert Cole; her grandchildren, Kris, Dusty, Ryan, Kyle O'Connell, David Morrison Jr., Logan Morrison and Kerry Smith; and her children-in-law, Angus Smith, Drew Horn and Evelyn Morrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maher's Funeral Chapel (64 Landsdowne St, Campbellton, NB E3N2L8).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
