She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomson and C. Maud Thomson (Thompson); her husband Murray K. MacDougall; her granddaughter Colleen MacDougall; and her siblings, Leigh (Bessie), Stanley, Juanita Spragg (Walter), Alma Rideout (Melvin), Sylvia Jones (Clifford) and Norine Thomson.
She is survived by: her children, Duane (Kathy) of Pembroke, ON, Mark (Janice) of Grand Bay, Gary MacDougall (Caroline) of St. Andrews, Bonita Higgison (Bonni) of Vancouver, BC, Beth Vreugdenhil (Paul) of Kanata, ON and Margo MacDougall of Dipper Harbour. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Home Home (Fundy Chapel) (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
