Joanne Storey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Storey of Doaktown, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Sterling Storey Jr.; her parents, Gerald Elwood and Nora Mae O'Donnell (Storey); her sisters, Gracie Rhynard and Peggy O'Donnell; and her siblings-in-law, Beverley Storey (late Anne), Stevie Storey, Denny Storey and Anna Mae Walls (late George).
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Brophy (Calvin); her grandson Stephen Brophy; her close friend Gerald Weaver; and her siblings-in-law, Richard O'Donnell, Linda Lyons (Bennett), Laura Storey (Nicky Legresley), Arlene Storey and Delia Storey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miramichi Valley Chapel (7681 NB-8, New Bandon Northumb Co, NB E9C2A5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (327 Main St, Doaktown, NB E9C1E1).
