He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Pitre and Pearl Pitre (Guitard); his sisters, Genevieve, Birdene and Kathleen; and his half-brother Ralph Guitard.
He is survived by : his children, Laura Donovan (late Nick) of Renous, Vincent Pitre (Donna) of Renous, Genevieve Beek (William) of Storeytown and Susan Van Ryn (Bill) of Ontario; his stepchildren, Rosanne Carr (Larry) of Fort McMurray, Lyne Couture (Burt), Johanne Munn (Philip), Renee McAulay (John) and Yvon Couture (Shawyan); and his brothers, Gordon and Norman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
