It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Allen Charters of Doaktown, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles Charters and Jessie Charters (Price); his son Barry; and his siblings, Jean Cavanagh and Bob Charters.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Charters (Parker); his daughter Elaine (Jerry); his grandchildren, Scott (Tara) and Holly (Doug); his great grandchildren, Patrick, Noah and Elisabeth; and his sisters, Pat and Joan (Ivan). He is also survived by his aunts and uncles who were like siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Thomas United Church (367 Main St, Doaktown, NB E9C1E1). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas United Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
