He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Christina Boone (Thomas); his parents, Benjamin Boone and Mary Ellen Boone; his siblings, Irvine Boone, Eldon Boone and Elva Boone; his in-laws, Frank and Alma Thomas (MacKinnon); his siblings-in-law, Evelyn MacKinnon (late Archie), Doreen Thomas, Garnet Thomas, Jack Thomas, Frank Thomas (late Ina), Carl Thomas and Vincent Elliotte; and his nephew Dow Thomas (Dianne).
He is survived by: his son Duane Boone (Cathy) of Fredericton, NB; and his siblings-in-law, David Thomas (Kathy) of Williamsburg, NB, Ellen Harris (Guy) of Fredericton Junction, NB, Bonnie Thomas of Jemseg, NB, Ann Thomas of Tay Creek, NB and Rowena Needle of Leder, SK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
