With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wavel DeMerchant of Douglas, New Brunswick, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parent Wavel DeMerchant; his former wife Mary DeMerchant (Williston); and his brother Dwight DeMerchant. He is survived by: his mother Shirley DeMerchant (Scott); his wife Gail DeMerchant (Given); his children, Jeremy DeMerchant (Jannah), Amy DeMerchant, Kerry McNaulty and Frank Morris; his grandchildren, Dominic DeMerchant, Desirae Porter, Alexander, Norah, Gideon DeMerchant, Madeleine McNaulty, Benjamin, Raymond and Samantha Morris; and his siblings, Kyle DeMerchant, Shirley Lynn and Krista Avery (Glen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or to a charity of the donor's choice.
