She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Sturgeon and Greta Sturgeon (Vickers); her son Jason Gallan; and her siblings, Perce Sturgeon, Maxine Tozer and Joan MacNabb.
She is survived by: her husband Glenwood Gallan of Doyles Brook; her children, Amy Gallan Fitzpatrick (Allan) of Nowlanville and Darcy Gallan (Amanda) of Doyles Brook, NB; her siblings, Marilyn "Bobby" Jardine (Emery) of Blackville, Hayward Sturgeon (late Vida) of Miramichi and Alonzo Sturgeon (Vivian) of Derby; her mother-in-law Ruth Gallan; and her granddaughters, Jordan Gallan (Nathan) of Moncton and Natasha Sturgeon (Marshall) of Miramichi. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, many cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews.
