He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Côté and Lucille Côté (Albert); and his siblings, Lionel, Adrien, Georges, Guildor and Hélène.

He is survived by: his son Gordon Oosterhof of Ontario; and his siblings, Gemma Raymond of Florida, Adèle Pelletier, Jacqueline Theriault (Don) of Grand Falls, Maurice (Trudy) of Fort St and Philippe (Yvonne) of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by sisters and brother.
